Futures Trading Websites
Recommended websites:
Site Name: Finotec
Domain: http://www.finotec.com/cfd-trading.php
Overall Rating: 5/5
Summary: This is a U.K.-based site that is engaged primarily in forex trading (buying and selling of foreign currencies). It has since branched out to futures trading in gold, silver and oil although its main expertise is foreign exchange trading (a large market of US$3.00 trillion daily). It also offers its clients deals in certain financial derivatives such as option and index trading. Additionally, it encourages clients to try out the CFD and short-selling margin trading options. Contracts for difference (CFD) are new derivatives instruments that settle upon opening and closing of the underlying contracts’ actual value (such as a stock index) and can be done on margins of as low as 5% only. Finotec allows short selling.

Stock Trading
Site Name: TFC-Charts
Domain: http://tfc-charts.w2d.com/tafm
Overall Rating: 4/5
Summary: What I personally like about the site is their short 12-part on-line introductory course to commodity markets with an emphasis on commodities futures trading and options or derivatives trading. It is also incumbent upon the site visitor to read up and consult other more comprehensive and reliable sources. This site only contains the most basic information and may be dangerous to first-time traders and those whose knowledge level could be that of a beginner’s. This site gives intra-day and end-of-day quotes on everything traded on futures market such as pork bellies, heating oil, soybean oil, etc.
Site Name: Daily Futures
Domain: http://www.dailyfutures.com/
Overall Rating: 4/5
Summary: A great site for those who want to have the latest news and information on most commodities that are also traded. Since this site has almost everything on commodities it is best to concentrate or focus only on the few areas that you are invested in at the moment. Anyway, the site has a good logical arrangement per commodity class so it is an easy way to navigate for a visitor. Among the categories are grains and cotton (corn, rice, wheat, soybeans, sorghum, cotton), livestock (live hogs, live cattle, etc.), “softs” such as coffee, cocoa, sugar, and orange juice, and others such as metals, energies, financials, and currencies.
